The What, The Why..
What if the very things being blamed for our disconnection from nature could actually reconnect us to it? I'm on a mission to transform our phones from weapons of mass distraction into windows to wonder…

G'day, I'm Brendan. After decades of making hunting films, I've taken a radical turn. Now, I capture the beauty, resilience, and quiet marvels of nature through short clips filmed entirely on my phone. My goal? To show that the tools for rediscovering wonder are already in your pocket.
Here's my promise: give nature just 10 minutes of your attention, three times, and you'll spot something you've never seen before—although it's been there all along. I know, because it happens to me all the time. All you need is your phone and fresh eyes. Nature will do the rest.
At the very least, you'll gain a new appreciation for the abundance around us. At best? You might discover something entirely new to science. This simple act of noticing leads to something profound: respect for our environment, discovery of new species, and a desire to protect what we currently take for granted.
I contrast remarkable man-made wonders with the often overlooked marvels of nature springing up around us—from vibrant mushrooms to dazzling insects, from seeds bursting with potential to the stunning beauty of sunrise. You don't need an African safari to experience breathtaking wildlife encounters; they're hiding in plain sight.
This simple approach has the potential for profound impact on our well-being, our treatment of the planet, and the future of all its inhabitants. But I could use your help.
If this mission resonates with you, join the journey. Follow and share my short clips on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok to inspire others. If you'd like to contribute further, consider purchasing one of my photos or making a donation—every bit helps bring these stories to life.
Together, let's rediscover the natural world, one wonder at a time.

And The Who Am I?.
"I've always been a hunter." - That was supposed to be the opening line of my book if I ever wrote one. And I guess I still am, but the game's changed!…
-
I'm Brendan. For 25 years, I made hunting films. It was my life and passion – but not because of the killing. That's something many non-hunters might struggle to understand, and yet it's true for many hunters: hunting isn't about the kill.
For me, it was about the chase, the thrill of being in nature, the exercise, fresh air, and bonds with friends. It's a perfect mix of exploration, danger, excitement, and sometimes heartbreak. But eventually, I found myself at a crossroads, unable to take another life. I was left without an occupation, a seemingly narrow skill set, and a profound question: Who was I without hunting?
The answer, I discovered, was in nature itself.
A New Path Forward
Now, I'm here to reignite wonder for the natural world. Nature gave me a new sense of purpose, and I want to share that through a remarkably simple approach: just 10 minutes of intentional observation, three times. That's all it takes to start seeing the extraordinary in the ordinary.
I've discovered that our phones—often blamed for disconnecting us from nature—can actually help us reconnect. They become windows rather than barriers, tools for discovery rather than distraction. And once you start looking, nature does the rest.
Imagine the ripple effect: if I could get 130,000 subscribers to watch me hunt, surely, with your help, I can inspire more to watch me save. Every person who takes those 10 minutes might discover something new, might help preserve a habitat, might tread more consciously because they've seen the beauty worth protecting.
Join the Journey
The most powerful way you can help is to watch, share, and then step outside to look with fresh eyes. While there's a donation page and web store if you're able to support directly, this movement starts with the smallest actions. Together, we can flip the narrative and transform our phones from distractions into tools for connection, appreciation, and protection of nature.
Let's do this together. Phones in hand, nature in sight. We leave the world better than we found it.
